So, this just happened

Someone just sent me a Private Message that automatically redirected me to a discord page without any sort of click. The only way to get rid of it was to reload MaiOtaku, quickly hit the Stop button, and delete the message. When I got a better look at the link in the broadened message system, it appears to be a script that forces your computer to a site. Know what else does that? A Virus. So, what to do about this, other than blocking the person who sent said script.

Luckily my chromebook doesn't usually pick up viruses since it can't download real programmes. I'd be hella pissed if I got a virus already on my new gaming PC though. It's definitely an annoyance and the only way it stopped redirecting me was because I spammed esc in a rage lol.

Yeah, I've seen this sort of thing before. Pure troll account, though most don't go to the level of sending a force redirect link and potential virus.
