How Many of You Have Made Real Friends Through MaiOtaku?

Sort of, though its very hard for me to consider someone a friend. But I have made friends on here if you use the normal definition of friendship. I'm just weird and have my own meaning for friend xD

(I rarely make comments in forums but I’m bored ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) I have made few friends on this site which is kinda shocking if you ask me because people on here never put efforts in conversations , giving BORING dry replies left and right and boring personalities haha. I mean can boring too but damn that BORING lol. Also there are some people on this site that have interesting conversations and HAVE personalities BUT YOU HAVE TO LOOK FOR THEM half of the times. Other times it’s hard to even joke because they can too trigger about something qwq So yeah it’s shocking to make friends on here imo haha uhh sorry if this is a mini rant ?? ^^;

No. The only person who lived in my state and actually wanted to meet up lives too far away. I checked the people who lived a bit closer and they fall into one of two categories: Inactive or undesirable. When I first came here, there were a few people who lived close to me I wouldn't have minded meeting with, but they are inactive. I checked out the other people who live close to me who are active, do not strike my fancy in anyway. Even the interesting people who live in the same country just live too far away. Interestingly, most of the people I interact with on a regular basis on this site are separated by an ocean.

I've made friends/acquaintances on this site of course but eh, it seems like they'd kinda just poof out of my life over time. There's only one person so far who I'd probably consider as someone who would be there for the long run, even if we never do actually end up hanging out irl or anything. We just...click, I've felt like I've known them forever ever since the first time we had a long conversation basically.

Friend... Such an alien word. Really though, friend is one of those words that I hold in very high regard and as such just because we get along/like to talk or I add/accept your request here, that doesn't mean I think of you on that level. If you are my friend, you are as my brother or sister. Aquaintances? I've had a few on here and I feel like that's the better word for me here, since most who say "friend" here really mean aquaintances. I suppose I hold people at a distance because I hate investing time and emotion to just be pushed away when it's all said and done. It's even harder for me to make that kind of connection online, since we most likely will never meet. That's not to say I don't care about those I've talked to on here, never confuse it with that.
