....Cosplay???

Hello everyone, I've been a huge anime fan for a while now and just recently started getting into cosplay. Not me myself dressing up but seeing other people bring characters to life is just pretty cool to me. Just wondering if its worth it since no one on the site really talks about it.

Cosplay is fun and for everyone! I am plus size and I always use to think I had to be accurate as the character representation but you can cosplay a character even if your not the exact weight or complexion for it you don't have to be like the live action version of the anime character to be able to cosplay and I think it's important people know this! Cause cosplay is fun and for everyone!

^^^ THIS. THIS IS EVERYTHING. It's fun getting to know people and make friends through cosplay; it's also a great way to test specific skills, such as organisation, creative/art direction and being able to work with it. It's a brilliant way of expression and acting out a character.

I love cosplay! It's the thing I look most forward to always! How come you haven't cosplayed yourself yet? It's super fun! If you had to pick a character, who would it be?

Cosplaying is fun especially with others. But getting a cosplay ready if you don't have great skills to make it or the money to buy it (or don't like to buy online in general) can be a lot of work. I was really never a big fan of it, but I still ended up doing it all and I am happy I did it.

I'd enjoy a bit of cosplay, but it's tough for me to get the clothes for it. Best I managed to do last year at Halloween was a sort of Inuzuka Clan OC (Kiba, the ninja dog trainer from Naruto if you're not familiar) using a headband I won in the toonami giveaway some number of years ago.
