Possessive/Protective

It should be mandatory in a healthy relationship for both of you to look out for each other and protect each other. ESPECIALLY if its your kid. But being possessive is just a result of insecurity. Being possessive is completely different than just loving and being with someone you plan to spend your life with and wanting the same in return. People who have a healthy enough self-esteem for themselves and empathy for others, or at least close ones, don't need to need or demand others TOTAL love and attention just because they naively give all themselves to you.....love and trust is earned and a person who gives these things out freely in huge amounts are undermining themselves, rushing into things, and likely just want the same irrational attachment in return, which isn't love, but just unhealthy. Demanding every last drip out of love and attention of another person without respecting their boundaries, social life, and such is just selfish. EDIT: So wanting and earning unconditional love and attention is COMPLETELY fucking different than demanding it, which is not healthy or justifiable, no matter who it may be. If love has to be demanded for you to receive any from someone, you just got a helluva unhealthy attachment pattern and you shouldn't care about people who make you demand their love back, whether it be because of narcissists or being abandoned by someone.

^ cute Hmmn.. I think I like the super possesive/protective types [yandere myself] but I often like my freedom too. Sooo °^° idk lol
