I started using face masks because I wanted to take better care of my skin, and I don't know a whole lot on which kinds I should get and which ones have certain benefits. Anyone have a good knowledge of face masks and what kinds a beginner should buy? Much appreciated! :)
Also just to note, I'm especially looking for things that will help even out my skin tone because I have mild rosacea, and basically that means my cheeks are naturally redder than the rest of my face which is annoying and I'm a bit self-conscious of that.

let's me take a look at face masks I bought from online shops..Here in China, Japanese skincare products are most popular. They are not expensive , and of good quality..=͟͟͞͞(๑•̀=͟͟͞͞(๑•̀д•́=͟͟͞͞(๑•̀д•́๑)=͟͟͞͞(๑•̀д•́

A LOT of sheet masks that I've used have not really done anything for me and I find that sometimes a simple moisturizer works better and is less time consuming.
HOWEVER, some that have worked for me are;
Cosrx rice and honey masks! They are overnight masks that don't need sheets. The rice one makes your skin super soft and slightly plump, the honey one makes your skin super hydrated and crazy plump! RECOMMEND! Also its best to use these kinds of masks at the very end of your routine. They are so hydrating that I often skip using heavy moisturizer even in winter.They are really great for even sensitive skin and the ingredient list is also quite good.
If you have scarring or want to get a more even skin tone or brighten your skin, its good to get a vitamin C mask, I recommend the natural vitamin 21.5 sheet mask but its better to get their freshly juiced vitamin C serum since you can use it every night and its more worth the price. Be careful about how you incorporate active ingredients like vitamin C and retinol into your skin care routine because it can actually cause more harm if you mix it with the wrong ingredients. But you can actual use active ingredients to your advantage too, as mixing vitamin C and vitamin E enhance the overall effect of both ingredients.
Its also good to have mud masks on hand to tighten pores and remove excess oil and dirt. Try to use once a week. All mud masks can pretty much do the job but I think its always best to avoid ones with fragrances and irritants. The Glamglow ones are super hyped and has great reviews but it is on the more expensive side. BUT before using a mud mask, its best to exfoliate your skin. I recommend using a chemical exfoliant so that you are not treating your skin harshly as scrubs with solid particles can cause mirco-tears in your skin which lead to damage to the skin barrier. The Cure Natural Aqua one is super popular and works but the ingredient list is slightly concerning. The Angel for Skin-Peel and feel skin renewal is also good with a great ingredient list.
If you are super new to skincare, I recommend getting one of those package deals from Wishtrend since they literally give you a whole routine based on what kind of issues you have.
If you want to look for your own products but you're not sure about how your skin will react to the ingredients, you should use cosdna http://www.cosdna.com/eng/ingredients.php

I'm prone to some areas of redness on my face myself since my skin is sensitive and easily gets irritated. What I've found works best for me personally is sticking to natural hydrating sheet masks (ones containing collagen, vitamin E, Q10, etc) and using unscented body wash and shampoo/conditioner. Aloe vera gel, organic honey, and vitamin E oil are also great for various spot treatments :-)
