Do any of you know any programming languages?

I know C, C++, C#, Java, JS, PHP, and ARM ASM. And python i guess but i hate python Primarily use C and C++ for most of what i do. ASM was mainly for writing small payloads or patching/cracking software.

I'm completely useless at writing any form of code from scratch. I don't know how people wrap their heads around that stuff even after reading up on lessons, tutorials, etc - I just cannot get the hang of it. BUT I can usually read and reverse engineer basic code already written out when it comes to games which I think is often LUA and I can do visual coding decently enough with stuff like GameMaker Studio and Unreal Engine 4 so I'm not good but not beyond hope neither.

Writing code is one thing, structure and design is another. Still weird how one day everything clicked and i was able to write crazy stuff ive never really looked into though. I wrote a rendering engine and GUI lib from scratch in opengl and used that to write the front end of an OS. Graphics programming is definitely not something for everyone tho. lol

When it comes to making games I can do just about everything else except code and art LUL I have tons of respect for anyone who can do either of those well.

Ive always lacked motivation with games. Also writing code vs using unity is so different. Unity's pipeline is its own beast. Also yea, art stops me too lol
