Neeto, I wasn't being a troll. Tell me, how was I wrong with what I said? Edit: I expect no retort.

@ohnoes I don't think he can present convincible reasons except calling people who disagree trolls.

I was born in Canada, but my parents are from Vietnam. Canada is mostly tolerant, but racism occurs mostly in the country side. When I lived in the country side, I was treated poorly compared to others. At the time I was pretty young to know what racism is. One experience I remember is a teacher during recess, who would search for me every time, then claim I did something wrong. The punishment was to sit facing the walls of the school. Each time I thought it was my fault, and it affected me negatively. I lost trust in my teachers and felt isolated. It even reached a point where I didn't feel like trying anymore. When I moved to the city, I realized later on that it was never my fault. But the damage has been done, and it took me a long time before I recovered and fix my additude. Nowadays the only racist remarks I see are comments on news, like some people talking poorly about immigrants and how they're here to steal jobs or will not contribute to society. It breaks my heart that these remarks are directed at a general group of people, which includes my parents. Besides, if anyone makes a racist remark out on the streets, that person is not gonna last long. It good to be aware of racism, and treat people who they really are.

Neeto, Now that I have an actual moment to properly correct an accuser, here's what I said, if you bothered to actually read. "No hate here, just a thought. You can have preferences, but then there are people who fetishize based upon ethnicity, culture or from here, entertainment. There's a difference. The person who exclusively goes for one ethnicity BECAUSE of the ethnicity, I'd argue that they're racist for only liking a group of people based on preconceived notions rather getting to know an individual. Again, just a simple thought from a simple man." I agreed with having preferences. Hell, I have preferences (I'm married, but still.). I wasn't twisting any of your words, I was adding my two cents on the people who are exclusively interested in this group or that group. Your boss liked black women? Great. Did he exclusively go after black women? Well, that'd be the area of discussion I was heading towards before you had some kind of mental moment with people who agreed with what I was saying. Make sure you read before you get your panties in a twist.

What gets me with all this racism stuff... 10 years ago it wasn't anywhere near this bad. During a time where a LOT of blacks did black stereotype comedy, a LOT of Hispanics did mexican stereotype comedy, and a LOT of whites did redneck stereotype comedy. We used to joke about racism a lot, and it allows conversations about actual racism to flow. Lately the heavy censorship of media is starting to harm race relations. When you're not allowed to joke and take the piss out of it, people talk about it less. When people talk about it less, problems pile up until they reach a fever pitch. It's just funny to notice that once you take away conversation; things only get worse.

@Lamby It use to be the case, but the government apologized, and are making the effort for change. Except certain groups of people are attempting to take advantage of this, and continuously brings it up. There are many natives that apologize for their people's conduct.
