Yeah, using Rabbit was awesome and easy! It had a little issue with buffering, but not always. I really liked using Rabbit to watch together from this site. Although, activity stopped as everyone got busy and all~

Rabbit? I think I saw that on Discord along with how to share with VLC, but there's one too many messages and I I can't find them. That, and I don't want to scroll up and miss it while I"m still looking for it.
I'm sure we'll be able to figure this out.

It's kind of opposite for me as I am not really familiar with Discord and all. Hopefully, it will all work out :)
At first, Rabbit seems really complex, but if you try it once, I find it is super easy to set up!
It happened on the link below and have some explanation too.

@Foolish_Otaku we will have to figure something out. Some people want sundays. Some want saturdays... Oh I have a solution :D I will just do one sunday and saturday nights! :D It gives me something to do/look forward to during the week. And I usually watch anime on those nights anyways. Thanks for recommendations. I'm going to make a list for this week and add those to it.
@Yuki-Chan you can join the hikikomori chat if you want instead. It's not fast paced, nobody trolls or is mean, and most people there are kind of shy. It's a good group of misfits :3
@Mango_Chan no worries. I'm going to do another one next weekend.
@CreativeSpaceCowboy yeah I'm considering switching to using that because then nobody has to download anything. Also with VLC it seems I have to manually, 1 by 1, enter in everyone who wants to view stream's IP address and that is just annoying. Would make more sense for me to give out mine, but I guess they did that to make it more private? Idk...
@Lynes yeah I am going to try Rabbit streaming this weekend. I'd like to move to VLC eventually for better quality, but I'd like to gather a regular group first. I may eventually even just stream with rabbit on one laptop and stream with VLC on the other so everyone is happy. It seems VLC would have better quality options, but that rabbit is just easier to handle for myself and others.
VLC is kind of easy to stream with, I just have to manually enter in everyone's IP which is just ridiculous. Unless they changed it (which they should) so that I can just give out my own. I think I will use both Rabbit and VLC simultaneously in the future, but Rabbit for this weekend.

If there are any movies you've been meaning to get around to, but just haven't had time or incentive, throw me a request/recommendation. I'm making a list for this weekend and will start doing movies every Saturday AND Sunday nights.

It is up to you how you want to host and whichever you are comfortable with :) Rabbit can be really intimidating since each participant have to make an account and many may not know how to use it. This may cause a lot of confusion and chaos if not careful. For VLC, I don't know much about VLC or internet security but to give out an IP is kind of making me feel nervous.
My recommendation:
Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou
https://youtu.be/JHwkaoRq26M
Other movies I like to recommend based on previously watched:
Koe no Katachi
Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki
No Game No Life: Zero
Bakemono no Ko
Summer Wars

@Lynes: Solid selection of movies there. I have not heard of Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou, so that's something new to watch.

Yeah, I haven't watched it yet but its synopsis and trailer for it are amazing!
The story begins with Maquia, who is from a family where all the members stop aging in their mid teens. She has no parents and, although her days are peaceful, she feels lonely. Their peace is shattered when an army invades, seeking the secret to her people's immortality. Leilia, the most beautiful girl in her clan, is taken away, and the boy Maquia has secret feelings for disappears. Maquia is able to escape, but she loses her friends and her home. Wandering alone in the forest, she finds Erial, a baby boy who has lost his parents. The story follows the changing relationship between the two as Erial grows up and Maquia does not.
