Indianapolis school shooting today

I don't know what the point is in asking "what do you think?" When the same will be said every time But I'll humor you, it's fucked up, sad, tragic, and my condolences to the victims. Now the whole gun debate and media shitstorm will just get more traction since it hasnt been long since the Santa Fe shoot :/

I don't know what to think, aside from it being yet another sad situation, but I think when my son starts school he'll be wearing a bullet proof vest. It'll blow over, no one died, two people were shot and it was a hand gun and not a AR15 or some sort of rifle that the media loves to use as "This is what all guns and people with guns are like.". I'll just ask the question that can't be answered... Why is this year such a big year for school shootings? Still, you're statistically more likely to commit suicide than shoot other people, as a gun owner in the U.S..

It honestly pisses me off so much how nobody is doing anything about it. People are obviously against us turning guns illegal but we can at least make the person do a test to see if they are a literal psychopath. Honestly, it's was so rare for a shooting to occur but now it's a daily occurrence. It's clearly obvious that something needs to change.
