After some previous posts about interests in board games, I was wondering if anyone might like to form a board game group. We could use this thread to set weekly/monthly meetups and rotate between different games.
Some other good options that I have found... Board Game Arena (Free gaming site with access to Carcassonne, Porto Rico and Terra Mystica) Steam (Has some cheaper digital ports of Smash Up, Ticket to Ride, Mysterium, Catan) Tabletop Simulator (A slightly more expensive steam engine that lets you play mods for a large amount of board games)
I would be willing to host something if Friday or Sunday in the evenings are ok (I am always too busy Saturday). If that is not good we could see if someone else could host or maybe we could have multiple hosts if there are more then enough people.
Those days sound good. I'll pop in and play if I'm not busy. Which program would you like to start of on? I suggest free to get to see how people like board gaming online. Thanks for taking the time to set this all up.
So I will be hosting on Board Game Area this Sunday at 2pm EDT. While I try to find a free version of Carcassonne or Catan (the one on this site requires a small subscription), I though we could play some of the other games, like stone age, celestia, tokaido or some of the card games that the site has. My username on the site is natnoblett.
