Ayyyy I'm a sugar daddy but it's a bit forced on me. I go to SakuraCon and my friend goes on the condition that I take care of her. I don't have any friends at the con (and still don't after 4 years) so it's pay up and not be alone or not pay up and have a miserable con or not even bother going. She gets to stay in my hotel for free, I buy her badge, buy her food and transportation to get home. I figure $300 in extra cost one time a year is cheaper than an actual girlfriend right.

I don't see a problem with that. Life is rough for many people and you gotta do what you gotta do to survive. You get your bills played for in exchange for intimacy. So long as there isn't any foul play or unsafe sex then it should be all gravy.
