Forever alone?

You know what? If you're looking for "the missing piece" you're doing it wrong. What you're saying is that you need someone to complete you or define who you are. There is no missing piece, just an addition to. You are the whole you RIGHT NOW. What you need to do is focus less on finding "THE ONE" and more on growing yourself into the one that another would want to have as an addition. When you get into a relationship, you're a team and neither is defined by the other, but by the whole. Relax and enjoy a life without being so anxious about what you don't have.

I'm just glad I graduated of the emo sad phase. Or at least I feel like I did. I'm comfortable being alone, and it's not really a worry. Sure, having a gf would be great and I welcome the idea, but there are more things I want in life that I can work towards. I'm already just fine as a person. Just missing that part of my life that I wish I could find. You guys can view your way of love or finding someone however you see fit, but don't tell me I have to see it your way. It's an opinion that varies with others. One opinion on love doesn't always work for a different person.

Honestly, it's not that bad being single, I've come to accept it and find the good things in being so. But like for real if I get lonely I whip out Mystic Messenger (¬‿¬)

Damn that last one. It's true love though! I got addicted to mystic messenger, but I had to quit cuz of my obsession of it and I actually never slept cuz if you want a good ending you couldn't skip out on the chat boards with the characters that was always scheduled on different times of the day.

Enki, So, if one is independent, one is more loving? Ehhhh... Yeah, I don't think so. A lot of times, being alone is a selfish thing. What I mean is, you're seeking self and not others. How then can you be more giving of yourself if you don't desire to share you're time with others? Kameiya, You're absolutely right. However, listening only to yourself leads to willful ignorance. Here's an opinion I'm sure you believe "Greater love hath no man than this, that he would give his life for his brother.". That's just an opinion too, but it sure does make an awful lot of sense. We all live our own lives, but when it boils down to it, we're really not all that different. I only throw out my thoughts to whom it may concern and if you choose to listen, great, if not, I lost nothing. Besides, I like to think of thoughts and opinions as seeds. You can toss a handful of seeds and know that atleast one will take root.

*poisons the seeds* since my opinion differs I don't need them. I don't agree with the whole alone and be stronger thing enki mentioned, but I don't believe it's selfish of her to choose that for herself if love simply Isn't there in her heart for it. Just like I don't believe I'm wrong for yearning the love of a man I can love back and complete the missing parts in one's heart.

Kam, You do you. Follow your convictions and don't complain. I'm not just spouting opinions to spout opinions, I truly hope to encourage (Despite some of my asinine actions on this site. XD) and these are things that have helped me. If you want to walk your path alone, you're free to do as you wish. Who knows? Eventually your puzzle pieces will all come into focus and then you'll see the whole picture. Oh, and the fact that you had to "poison the seeds" means they've already entered your mind. ;P
