It does, but as time goes on I start thinking I was meant to be alone cause no one gives me a chance no matter how hard I try

I think when I was somewhere between 23-25 I went through a period where I was upset over the idea? Although the feeling of caring would go in and out. (I was also playing Otome games, which would over time make me feel down over it? xD -they don't anymore luckily.-) Though came to the point I don't even care anymore again and I'm quite content with myself, for myself? xDDD At the same time I'd like to at least experience what dating is like, and I don't even know if that's possible for me. xD (I also wonder if I even want to do that ahahahah)

I seem to go the opposite trend of most people here. For the longest time, I didnt' care. I was happy just playing video games day in and day out, with nothing every changing. But when I heard Wolfychu and Jordan Sweeto tell the story of how they started a strong, and adorable, relationship long distance(her in Europe, him in Australia) it made me hopeful I could find someone, and motivated me to put myself out there. And commence the comments about how cheesy my wake up call was. Go ahead, I know it is.

In reality I've never thought of me realistically ending up forever alone but I've said it countless of times to others, when I used to be in a self-pitying mood (I'm sure I'm not alone in this haha). I'm sure someobody will show up one day anyways...what I'm more afraid of is actually going into a relationship with a person and realising after a long time after that it was a mistake. That we actually had so little in common but I just went along with it for whatever reasons (maybe i am going to be super desperate and lonely in the future who knows xd). Many take this as having a romantic partner/or a spouse but I think people shouldn't forget about their family and friends as well... For me friendships are even more important than so called "romantic relationships". I think the feeling of "forever alone" comes more from loneliness and sense of loss than actually wanting a partner... it's a shame to see how so many try to fill a gap with a relationship, when they are actually missing something else from their life. If we really valued self-love and our goals in life, I don't think we'd worry that much about ending alone, as we would have spent our life living the way we wanted, always chasing after new challenges. TLDR: Don't think I'll be forever alone, am more afraid of spending my time with the wrong person for wrong reasons. Love your family and friends and work on yourself and I'll think you won't even have such thoughts anymore as you did the best you could.

Be happy with yourself and then you can be happy with others

Welp, Better safe than sorry. If that means forever alone for me, then oh well. If it's how it is, then it's how it is. Unfortunate, but eh.

@Blissfull I've actually got a number of people who have been rather supportive of me looking for love online, among which is actually Jordan Sweeto and Wolfychu! They did a promo with his latest song where they Skype/Discord called those who pre-ordered. I took the opportunity to thank them for how their story inspired me. I know they weren't expecting such a thing, but to hear them say they supported me in my own endeavors meant a lot to me. I told them how they gave me the courage to try, and that now, because of it, I have an amazing girlfriend. She's half way across the country, so I haven't gotten to meet her face to face, but that doesn't make me want her any less.
