'Tachibanakan To Lie Angle' (Love to Lie Angle) or (Tachibanakan Triangle) https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/1520/90647.jpg Synopsis: When Natsuno Hanabi went back to her hometown to study in high school, she thought that she will have a new wonderful life. But Tachibanakan, the dormitory she was going to live in, was not what she expected. --- This is a 3minute short. As far as I can tell it's nothing but yuri fan service.... I don't know why I bothered reviewing it.

'Lupin III: Part V' https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/1235/91028.jpg Synopsis: In the new series, Lupin III will travel to France — the home of his grandfather and namesake, Maurice Leblanc's master thief character Arsène Lupin. --- It's Lupin. He's a comical master thief... Do I really need to explain it? You should know this guy by now.

Every season, there are a handful of common themes in the anime that air, as if the major entertainment companies picked a theme in which to compete and see who can do a more popular show matching that theme. This season, one of themes seems to be reviving vintage anime, as this is already the third vintage anime getting another shot, and a 4th one 'Cutie Honey Universe' airing soon. There's also quite a few other older anime getting new seasons. Like FLCL, Tokyo Ghoul, Full Metal Panic, and Sword Art Online Not to mention there's also 4 dueling anime airing this season. 4 sports anime. 4 magical girl anime. 4 yaoi anime. And 4 romance anime.

'Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai' Ep. 01 (Tada Doesn't Fall in Love ) https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/1324/90821.jpg Synopsis: In the story, Mitsuyoshi Tada, a boy who has never known love, is taking pictures of the cherry blossoms in full bloom when he meets Teresa Wagner, a transfer student from Luxembourg. Upon arriving in Japan, she got lost, separated from her travel companion. Mitsuyoshi helps her and brings her to his grandfather's coffee shop. --- This one is a romance. The first episode was only okay. My first impression of the characters was that they were only so-so. The main protagonist seems pretty bland, his sister is cliché, and his friend is flamboyant and annoying. As for the heroine, she's overly nice and pretty airheaded. And her companion is the serious one and a bit violent (guessing bodyguard). The plot also seemed a bit bland and obvious as well. It slightly hints that the heroine is someone rich and/or important. But it doesn't really pull you into the story. We'll have to see if the second episode gets anymore interesting.

'Comic Girls' Ep.01 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/1148/90325.jpg The manga's story centers on the 15-year-old high school student and manga creator Kaoruko Moeta, who uses the pen name Chaos. After ranking at the bottom of a reader survey, Kaoruko's editor recommends that she enter an all-female dormitory for manga creators. Kaoruko's roommates are shoujo manga creator Koyume Koizuka, teen romance manga creator Ruki Irokawa, and shounen manga creator Tsubasa Katsuki. The girls support each other as they work to become better manga creators. --- Yet another anime about young manga artist. However this one doesn't seem nearly as lewd as several others recent ones. It's a very girly comedy / slice of life. The 4 girl characters are cute, but it didn't really catch my interest. But still, if you like drawing yourself, you might find it interesting.

'Saredo Tsumibito wa Ryuu to Odoru' Ep.01 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/1835/91306.jpg Synopsis: The series takes place in an alternate world, staged mostly in the city of Eridana, whose territory is half in the Tseberun Dragon Empire, and half in the Lapetodes Seven Cities Alliance. Each half is separated by the Orielal River. In this world, special abilities called spell formulas (咒式, jushiki) exist, which are essentially chemical reactions augmented through special weapons that cause a magic spell-like effect. These special weapons are called Magic Staff weapons, and are as varied as regular weapons are. Spell formulists use these spell formulas to fight with "Beasts of Abhorrent Form," natural creatures that use spell formulas and pose a threat to humans, such as Dragons, Aions, or Enormes. The story focuses on the two main characters, Gaius Sorel and Gigina Ashley-Bufh, the only two employees of spell formulist dispatch office Ashley-Bufh & Sorel Co. They are met with a variety of requests from a variety of clients, all requiring the adept use of spell formulas. --- This one looks like it's gonna have a lot of action in it. The opening was a bunch of blah blah blah babble trying to sounds all science like. Basically they recreated magic using science. When they act all precise and calculating in the conversations it's really annoying. Though, after you make it past the opening, it's actually pretty interesting. Unlike a few of the other anime, they draw you into the plot right off the bat. Already there's all kinds of plotting going on. It's pretty well done and the characters are pretty interesting. Even the guy that seems kind of bland at first has some unique personality to him. Speaking of, that was a nice save at the end there. I've used that line myself a few times when I got lost in thought while my girlfriend was talking. This is definitely going on my watch list, and I'd recommend everyone else give it a try too.

'Megalo Box' Ep. 01 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/1427/91055.jpg Synopsis: Ashita no Joe 50th anniversary project. JD (Junk Dog) participates in fixed boxing matches in an underground ring in order to live. Today, he enters the ring again, but he encounters a certain person. JD wants to take on a challenge that risks everything. --- My first impression was this one was nonsense. Hitting someone with gear like that doesn't make you an athlete. More likely you'd kill the person with one hit. But seeing how anything is possible in anime, this one is actually pretty interesting. I didn't expect it, but it really pulled me in. And by the end of the first episode the main protagonist definitely makes you feel like rooting for him. I'm adding this one to my watch list, and I'd recommend you guys giving it a shot to.

I'll probably give it a try to Megalo Box. Not sure about Saredo Tsumibito yet. I always doubt to watch something that has a lot of weird lore on the synopsis lol

Come on Whisp, it won’t hurt to give one episode a try.

I did it, and it hurt me. Not really, but I could confirm is not my thing. I think these days is hard for me to care about those worlds and setting. idk Megalo Box seems to be a highlight of the season. The aesthetics are worth nothing for sure. Really cool.
