If you don't have a preference, why are you single?
I'm not trying to start anything here, but I'm seeing a big trend of people blaming others for why they're single, when in reality, it might just have something to do with how you are and not how you look. Just think a little. When there's a pattern of thought, a pattern of happenings, a pattern of anything, there's usually a very simple and easy cause.

My preference in body size has nothing to do with me being single.

@Midas My original statement was inaccurate, I have preferences for the way people behave and their interests. I don't understand a preference for looks because looks change over time.
@Ohnoes I'm single because my last girlfriend decided she wanted to focus on her education rather than the time consuming long distance relationship we were in. I'm still single because I'm odd and not looking for people outside the internet in my area. The majority of women in my area are all to willing to be friends with benefits or claim to be dating but just want sex. I'm also alright with being single, as long as I can find a person to hang out with from time to time.
(Sidenote: I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the women in my area wanting sex, it's just not what I want to focus on or build a relationship on)

Thing is, being healthy. or fit. IS affected by your personality. If someone doesn't take care of themselves, it shows. Be it with body type, or hygiene. It shows a level of self respect and self love in my opinion. Which is something very important for healthy mindsets in general. That's ignoring the literal positive aspects.
However, That's just my personal opinion on the matter. I don't believe it's shallow, but I can see why others would. Preferences aren't a negative thing. It's good that someone understands what they like and go for it. That said, if they have standards like they most be models or above, I can see the...issues of it all. I think Muffin's got the point.
Be it physical, mental, or philosophical, we all have preferences to some extent. However, Right now we're mostly talking about, Some of them are deal breakers.

I wouldnt mind a chubby girl or even a skinny one. Though my preference is mainly girls on the bigger side (just chubby not actually fat/obese) thicc girls need love too <3
For me a deal breaker would be a girl who cant appreciate the things i do or lengths i would go for her. Time and time again i meet alot of women who are snakes and feel its all about their needs and i gotta do everything they want and still be treated like crap. I also cant stand people who puts me second, to me the girl i date will always be #1 and the whole "family first" things is BS cuz then what am i? Is that not what we are trying to accomplish? Being a family together? In that sense i should be #1 as well. Its even worse when you let other guys take priority over me

Yeah, Panda bro. People who take advantage of you are pretty crap. While I agree one should be #1 in a relationship. You can't expect that before you're in a serious relationship either.(not sure if that's what you meant or not.) While girls(or guys) who put another person over their SO, probably should break up with them. Because it's obvious the feelings aren't there and they don't appreciate them as much as they should.
