What is your favourite sports anime?

*shakes* SP0rTs AnImE i love sports anime my fav is probably prince of tennis because of nostalgia but i also really like haikyuu the sound track was lit yowa mushi pedal was also rly nice cuz i found all the characters likable and yisssss ballroom e youkoso was hella noice, animation n art was so pretty. and sengoku was hot 83

Yeah I liked Diamond no ace, having Sawamura as main character! Rival interaction between Sawamura and Furuya was so funny. Loved the influence of Chris and trust from Miyuki. I got so hyped whenever Sawamura get to go on to the mound. Slam dunk is a bit old but has great humor that had me going. Loved the interaction between Sakuragi and Rukawa as well as gorilla.

Even though it's about a card game, Chihayafuru is categorized in the sports genre. So not only is it a requirement to be listed in this thread, it also belongs up near the top of any sports anime list! Oh yes! I loved Chihayafuru as well! I love their character development. I never knew such game exist before and made me realize how cool it was. I felt so bad for Taichi...

@Cadet Blood brotherrrrrrrrr!!!! Love this anime/manga. The anime needs another season! Haikyuu is freaking amazing! Ping Pong the Animation is legitimately a wonderful anime. Quite gorgeous.

Okay, okay, gonna embarrass myself here, since I tend to like anime that’s not popular lol. My favorite is Prince of Stride! Not only do I like the characters and story, I also really enjoy watching them run through intense obstacles XD I personally hate running and every time I watch the anime I run out of breath LOL. Although, this anime has made me want to run too XD I also really like Yuri on Ice but only because I love ice skating and want to learn soon. One more thing Haikyuu is awesome and Diamond no Ace has made watching real Japanese baseball games really enjoyable lol
