Shut up T~T I only ever make the argument that PC is going to be ahead in hardware and is just easier to develop games for (only reason why some things come out on there first). Like other than that it's all personal preference >.> I haven't played MH World in like 3 and a half months because of the feeling of content drought.

I haven't played the game in a long time too because of the lack of things to do. It's just farming jewels and spheres. Arch tempered is not new content. Also my PS+ subscription has run out so no multiplayer ^^'

i hate when ps plus runs out ;; it took a lot of hunting time away from me, so maybe that's why i lost muse for the game

I typically o ly log in for a few new events (though havent lately) content drought happens with MH, they can only put out so much content at one time. But its always easy to come back to

at some points i should actually do my main quests and finish some armor but..hrmmm

I can't pinpoint what felt so different about MH Generations that hook me much more than World. World is a better game for sure, but after I was done hunting most tempered mosters I was done, didn't feel like playing anymore, and that's not something that happened in Generations, even if that game also lacked G rank, hunting whatever monster was addictive. Maybe it's just the moster variety, or cool armors to collect, or quest variety...I dunno. I just wish the expansion changes this, and it doesn't end having the same shallow end game.

I think you just pinpointed it for me. The main thing that feels different, is the gear. There is no longer that feeling of "i just killed monster (x) now to go see what the armor/weapon looks like!" And "yeah i wonder what my gunner armor/weapons look like!" Granted, some weapons did require upgrading from previous versions to get to... but most of them were pretty lack luster in terms of visual. Im hoping g-rank brings back that feeling of excitement that get people hooked. as a great sword user, im disappointed that majority of my weapons look the same, with just some minor accents. Also the ones that just look like an Axe.. like thunder 3 or w/e its called...

^ ya for great swords... Ok so here's the buster sword design from the original PS2 game. Want a fire sword? Ok now it's the buster sword but with a red filter! Ice sword? Blue filter! Stun sword? Yellow filter! Poison sword? It's still the buster sword but with green feathers... Honestly I've been making stuff like red wing and eager cleaver for the past ten years, the excitement isn't all there anymore. They should bring only new content, saying this not only for World but all MH in general. A lot of the content is just stuff that was there in previous games. I'd like to be thrown in a genuinely new world and discover only new things instead of just rediscovering the same game again and being familiar with at least half the gear. If I feel nostalgic about the nargacuga or the rathalos I'll just go play an older game, don't have to force it in the newer ones. I'm not hating tho, I'm happy to play if you serve me old content but that's what I think. It wasn't the best but MH Tri was unique because most of it was new. There were aptonoth, insects (bnahabra and verspoid are the same thing don't try to deny it), rathalos and rathian... hm. Not forgetting anything? But everything else was new, I liked that. It made me use different weapons and armors.

In honestly fine with a few returns. Some monsters are just staples. Rathalos being the games Mascot till the end of time, im fine with them always having red wing. But yea i get disappointed when there isnt a unique model for a creature. Not saying each and every creature necessarily needs its own visual all the time, but there was a lacking amount in this one. I hope in g-rank, thunder 3 or rabadon slab gets a visual upgrade
