"How do you get a Otaku girlfriend?" Same way as just getting a girlfriend. Be friends first, strengthen bond a bit, confirm both feelings are mutual, then become officially BF/GF. It's not rocket science.

just get a normal girlfriend.... show her some of the great animes untill she starts craving for it (its like a drug), and then just wait for the magic to happen... when she starts watching a hell lotta animes, tadah you get your otaku girlfriend!

"just get a gf" is at the very least easier than "get an otaku gf" i guess..

Hmm, Otaku Gfs are less of a type of person but a state of mind and also their personal interest. It's the same answer as to how do I find a Boxer GF, Musician GF, and etc. You look where to places that these types of people would be like bookstores, anime shops, malls that have anime stores, and etc. If you can find these places then your sure to find a few people and if your not picky you can find someone willing to talk to you and befriend. The hard part comes in keeping those people interested and attracted to you. As individuals, we are all a little different and those small differences are enough to make them want you or not want you. This is however hard and really not the best solution or option to getting a girl that could like anime or be an otaku. Some girls may hide the fact that they like anime and may not go to places that you would be able to find them. Those locations are also male dominant and women are easily intimidated and will limit going to those places. Try looking for an open minded girl and try her stuff and then try to get her to watch some good anime. Nothing too deep or strange that could turn her away from it. Try to find out what movies and shows she likes and then find anime that best suits those standards. In time she will like and understand anime and also you and the relationship could end up being stronger then if you found someone already into anime with completely different tastes. But most importantly be happy that someone even stays after hearing that your an otaku and that side of you even if they don't like anime are willing to stay with you.
