What is music to you?

Everything? Weird ass question. Music has helped raise my mood when it was down. Inspired me to push through difficult or just boring times. It has made me feel happy, sad, angry, euphoric, sexy, insecure. Helped me when i was processing some very difficult questions. Learning how to play an instrument was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had and it continues to pay off. Its more than a language or pretty sounds. It friggen transcends all of that. Its a part of life.

Music is the first magic. No seriously. It existed before language did, or so many paleontologists believe. And it is what a lot of early forms of occultism were based on. Think of it. Merely by making noises in a certain harmony and rhythm, and suddenly you have partial control over the actions, moods, and thoughts of others.

Offline, when I don't want to interact with people, I listen to music. When random people want to have small talk with me in real life, I am listening to music so I don't know they mention me..I listen to music/lectures even when I'm at work...

Something personal like memories, thats why I dont tend to share what im listening to because Ill start to associate it with other people and that usually ruins it
