401K is not the safest type of investment. Not sure where you heard that from. You should invest into retirement, yes. But there are better ways to invest into retirement then 401k's.

oohhh im thinking bank account kind of investments yeah if your talking land i guess that would be better because its nearly completely guaranteed to accumulate great value, but that's just not practical I'm talking practical ways to invest your money, and from the research iv done (though minimal as stocks and shit do go a bit over my head) it seems like a 401k is safer than an ira
