The military fucking stresses me out man, imma have grey hairs by age 26 at this rate. This is why i cant expect people to do my job for me. My guy had ONE job just one and now my superiors are breathing down my neck as if it was my fuck up. No ma'am i know how to do my job because i have a fully functioning brain, i wouldnt have volunteered for my position if i didnt have a single clue of what im doing i didnt join yesterday. I have been in almost 5 years now. My peers literally fail me every time i count on them. Ffs

@hell_hound7 sounds like it's time for corrective action. If smoking Joe's doesn't work or is still being limited like it was when I was in you could do another thing I did. Work with your higher-ups like your CO, 1SG, PL, or PSG and have that Joe teach a class to your company, platoon, or something. It works way better than having them write and RBI. It forces them to learn or retrain in a subject. Makes them work on their skills in PowerPoint presentations and looking up information. Another great thing is it teaches them responsibility by forcing them to reach deadline set by your higher-ups and failure to meet the deadline falls on them. If they are unable to meet the deadline the class they have to teach could be made longer. This punishes your Joe but also improves their skills and helps in their career. The class could pertain to your MOS or even basic soldier skills such as loading comm channels into handheld radios or even weapon systems. Something to think about at least. Well basically the main issue here is im a primary for an alternate duty i volunteered for. I have an alternate or back up who when i am not available is supposed to take over my program whom also vplunteered for that position. I basically went on leave but prior to doing that i trained the dude up on everything because he neglected to show up to any of the trainings and meetings. Well an issue came up while i was gone and he dropped the ball. So my commanders are asking why they werent briefed on this specific incident that happened while i was gone. And telling them "hey im not sure" you already know where that would get me. So i had to dig through military regulations and rules to find the answer and basically throw him under the bus for neglecting an important step in a process affecting someone's literal military career. As in if they dont get this resolved people start getting paperwork and can be kicked out sort of serious.

Oh, I see. Is this a possible Art 92 situation I wonder? Oh well yeah that sucks hopefully all gets better. Situations like this are never fun.

Yeah its like one of those things where someone's head is on the chopping block, and im here trying to stop the blade from coming down on them. Because my back up screwed them over not doing what he was supposed to. So my supervision is angry because it looks like someone droped the ball and since its my program im who the blame gets pinned on. Lucky for me i actually read up on the written guidelines for my job and know my shit, thats basically what is saving my ass cuz i found a loophole. Ik that probably sounds confusing XD but yeah.
