People are dumb and inconsiderate and will drop you in a second. Especially if you causes them any pain. That's why my roommate dropped kicked me for eating the last bag of oreos.

About to go drive around for a bit, I just hope it isn’t flooded everywhere. Don’t need my car turning into a submarine anymore.

Our streets are flooded. One lightning hit and boom. No power and no connection . No network because its the days of Moharram. So we couldn't even ask for help. Yesterday was hell.

Between 2012 and 2018, my father and stepmother put me on medications for my sleep-depriving caused by their decision to put me in a college they recommended that was not-so good to me even putting me into nightshift due to very few daytime classes available while even causing my father to unnecessarily fuss at me too far. And since then, it even nearly killed my passion in gaming they (and even the one who got me into it, my big sister), both refer to it as for childish, irresponsible and immature people that is a waste of time and money. The only thing that saved it was video game music. It helps me with my everyday living. But even with that, some say from "synthesizer" to "Star Wars" (John Williams) sarcastic opinions. Returning to gaming scares me because of being too alert of most important things in life even when it's not time yet. "Father is right, I am lazy as shit. Sister is right, my hobbies are only for kids and immature people. A troll online is right, I am an elitist bastard. Stepmother is right, my passions are a waste of time and money while not-so important." But a local friend in the same boat as mine replied... "I see...well, those people are wrong. I know it is easy sometimes to let the opinions of others affect how we see ourselves. But oftentimes those people say those things with ulterior motives. Maybe those people are saying those things to you because they are unhappy and want to see everyone else unhappy? You are not lazy. You volunteer for extra work and were incredibly stressed at the prospect of work ending. That is not laziness. Your hobbies are your hobbies, it does not matter what anyone else thinks of them. Lots of things that you enjoy are very popular now among millennials. Perhaps your sister is jealous. Online trolls are just that, trolls. Their only purpose is to cause misery. No passion is a waste of time or money, all passions are valid and it is a black mark on your step mother's character that she is not respectful of that." Another friend replied to us... "I agree with that person. I have people tell me the same things. People act like I'm lazy because I don't make a lot of money. I do what I love. Working in animal medical. It doesn't make you rich, but it's what I love to do. I love science, so working in any lab setting is fun for me. Try to find work in a field of interest. Sometimes you really have to dig and sometimes go into places to ask about jobs because some places still don't advertise jobs correctly. I still stick to my hobbies because they are my escape. The things that make me happiest. Just ignore people's ideas about things they don't understand. Most people are as deep as a spoonful of water when it comes to having interests and hobbies. All anyone ever wants to do is shop, drink wine, take too many pharmaceutical drugs they don't need or often abuse, and sit on Facebook all day trying to make their lives look valid. Those peole are jealous of those like us, because we have personality. We are memorable and stand out above the crowd because we're different. I'd much rather be different than a human sheep. I still watch cartoons (lots of types), play video games, draw, laugh at immature jokes, wear character t-shirts and jeans and Converses. People make fun of my outdated wardrobe, but I tell them I embrace being weird. It keeps normal boring people away from me. I still like Legos and collect toys and action figures. Still play board games. My husband thought gaming was immature until him and I got together. Then he realized that you can be an adult and still love video games. My mom played them all the way until she died at age 49. I will always play them, but I haven't had time to play them lately. Only games I play currently are mobile games that you can just pick up and play a little bit then go back to adulting."
