Ok ok ok i get the whole loli/shota arguement if it were just that you liked that body type as in short, cute looking or young looking. That totally understandable but alot of times loli/shota ARENT adults. They are children. Whether that be irl or a drawing its still sexualization of a minor. The minor may not be a real person therefore they dont have any feelings, rights, etc. If you like what you like its cool. I just think what yaasshat is getting at is the reason why people look at you weird is cuz when they see a loli or shota it just looks like a little kid. So if you watched loli hentai what makes it different than pedo stuff? Besides the fact one is an actual human being and the other isnt?

Kind of got emotions involved in here,it seems. That wasn't really my intention, but again, if you make it personal, I have not qualms with doing the same. I was arguing/debating a term. Loli is called Loli because of the book Lolita. It was not about a "cute" kid. Shota is not by definition meant to EVER mean cute either. Kind of simple. I get it, most here probably have no interest in the ero portion, but the fact of the matter is, that comes with the territory and people will assume it as such. Wanna continue dancing in circles? What happend with this argument is srsly just confusing as we just keeping going in circles let's sum this up I got so confused after reading this whole thing... 1. Loli is a shortterm for Lolita (I'm still getting to reading that literature let's see what it brings...) 2. I think the Anime community missuse the term Loli/shota, I think it's just because we don't care. It got way too popular as a term 3. I think you can see a "Loli/Shota" as cute without lewding it 4. If you start to lewd it, well ... pedo stuff is not far from it.
