I'll never understand why people try to force lag in fighting games to win online. I just played a few ranked matches in MK11 and fought some dude who was obviously doing that since the lag was so consistent despite him being 5 bars and the way he played was if he knew exactly what was going on and was attempting to capitalize on it (using fast strings and lows that are hard to react to with lag, and just general cheese). He ended up ultimately timing out because of the lag and I won by default. :u Actually, I don't know why people even care that much about winning online. It ultimately doesn't really mean much of anything trying to be an online warrior if you're not actually testing yourself against equal skill or higher players in competitive settings. I guess people get inflated egos and think they're hot shit because they get high in the rankings online. I've noticed personally that a lot of online-only players are usually just dishonest and avoid trying to play against someone at their skill level or higher more than once. If you win the first match in the set they'll more than likely quit so they don't lose their ranking and if you lose to them they'll rematch you as many times as they can as long as they think they can farm you for ranks.
