Yeah, slice of life is pretty unmatched in my opinion, the way they mix around real life and exaggerated detail to amuse me to no ends. And I will certainly let you know how it was asap! Honestly, I would always say it's a good read. I loved it, the story and the characters were all very well designed and the manga really had a lot of room for more if they ever pursued. And yeah, I actually love all the behind the scenes! There was also several scenes that were "inspired" by her real life but she refused to disclose specifics.

Definitely! And great, I look forward to it! The little notes in the margins where she talked about her life and inspiration WERE really cute. A lot of old shoujo manga used to be like that, it was really nice! Fruits Basket was never much to my taste and the way it ended was ehhh.... there IS a sequel story if you're interested? None of the same characters are in it. imo it's basically an AU of the original fruits basket.

I love cute anime and anime that are just sappy sweet. Like, during Maburaho where the protag eats one of the girls food that was apparently SUPER disgusting but he ate it all and didn't break straight face, all because she worked hard on it and it made her happy. Like, I am a sucker for that. Also, I do know about the Fruits Basket thing and I kind of fell off from that one near the end so I never was interested in following up on it.

Yeah, small acts of kindness and little romantic gestures kill me and I am just a sucker for cheap romance! I think I had all the way to volume 15 or so. So, whatever chapter 15 ended on.

oh woow that's a lot! how different is it from the original?

Man, the story, you can see huge strides of change and maturity in the characters, honestly. It's really interesting to see a character grow with time in manga and that one really did it.
