There are news sources that I prefer, ones that I trust more than others. However, there is no news source that I trust unconditionally or as if it's gospel. I simply live my life, and in order for me to progress through my life without stopping for every little thing, I take what is less likely to be lied about coming from a new source that shows me less dishonesty as something that's more than likely to be true. If it reaches a certain likelihood that it's true, then I'll repeat it to others based on that belief. If it doesn't reach that likelihood, then I will further research it before I repeat it to others as if it was the truth. That said at this point the only ones I fully believe in are Philly D and random camera phone videos posted on youtube. I don't believe that they can never be wrong, but that they are unlikely to lie in order to manipulate the viewer to some degree.

You know who I trust? Primary sources. I don’t need people to read their opinions or points of views to me. Give me the actual document and I’ll read it myself

The internet allows for instant and unlimited sharing of information which is still pretty new from historical perspective. The bad thing is that there's still no way to tell who's legitimately telling you something true and who's just full of sh*t. Also, people love to cherry pick information based on own beliefs and views instead of facts and truths. The internet allows you to find people who share the same view on a specific topic, giving you the wrong assumption that your onto something big that the broad public is not, but chances are, it's just a minor opinion group assuming without getting their facts straight. 'Don't believe everything you see on TV.' Don't believe everything on the net either, where everyone can almost instantly plant false truths.

That's not even all. Social media as it is today is even fresher, and beyond that are cameras literally almost anyone can pull out at any given time to record and broadcast instantly over the internet.

If there is a second civil war its basically going to be over the exact same thing that the first one was over (no not slavery but the much bigger issue that slavery issue was just the biggest form of - that being states v federal rights) I do plan on having myself an AR-15 style rifle in the nearish future and part of the reason why is as a "shit hits the fan" gun and having about 1000 rounds of stock (which for a SHTF isn't a whole lot). If there ever was a second civil war thankfully it would end rather quickly and one sided (unless miraculously our military is fighting purely for the leftist side) since the leftist side would be at least critically disadvantaged on two key strategical points. Leftists are all bunched together - so they already pinned themselves and would be immediately surrounded and they don't like guns so they are willfully disarmed (minus the gangbangers and such). This is part of the reason libtards push gun control so hard - they can call it gun safety or common sense all they want but they really want to turn us into a combination of Australia, Europe and Venezuela. I've looked up a few studies that show that conservatives understand liberals better than the reverse (not that my light "research" can be stated as pure fact). Liberals since election day have shown 0 understanding of half of the country and they double down on why things are why they are. Obama left a legacy of division that half the country wants to pin purely on Trump (and his base). Its getting harder and harder to remain centrist when the leftists are so militant in their views. In order to solve things peacefully reason must be restored to the radicalized left and that sure as hell doesn't look like its happening anytime soon. We also should be much more cognizant of the Constitution and respecting the principles of its foundation (primarily with respect to guns and state v federal rights). The population dense bleeding heart liberal counties want to impose their laws and needs on the rest of us (by way of federalizing and standardizing all of our laws on a federal level) which is purely un-American. Dare I say it is even fascist. (as far as where I get my news .... I sample Breitbart, the blaze, and huffpo to balance the other two out primarily)
