Straight or Bi - and how did you realize?

I haven't tried everything so I don't want to roll out any possibilities, but I'm 99% sure I'm pansexual. That means I like guys, gals, and non-binary pals based on emotional attachment, not what parts they rock. I found out when I was dating a girl back in highschool who wanted to transition to be a guy. Ever since then I've realized gender identities and roles and all that jazz doesn't matter when it comes to love. Love knows no bounds, as they say.
