Literary RP Thread ~*The Island Of Lost Spirits*~

This one took a few days, (because of laziness) but it's finally done. Jason is a 21- year old man who loves nature and doesn't like conflict. One day, while he was walking near a Seawall, Jason tripped; panic filled his eyes as his feet were sliding against the bumpy rocks. Jason clenched his eyes shut as he prepared for his inevitable descent into the water. Jason felt his entire body surrounded by water. He lifted his head and kicked is legs until they propelled him upwards. He felt a blast of fresh air hit him. He wiped his hands with his face; as he looked back, he could see the rocks were he slid getting farther away from him. "Guess I'll swim back once the current stops." Jason said to himself. The current carried him until he could see an island in the distance. When his feet could touch the ground; Jason walked out of the water and onto the shore. Once there, he laid eyes on a monstrous statue.(Area 6) "That's a freaky looking statue." Jason said. He scanned his surroundings, looking for anyone else that might be here. He decided to walk north of the statue. Jason continued his journey, when he spotted a forest.(area7) He went in and stopped when he heard a snap. Jason looked down where he stepped and realized he accidentally severed a skeleton's right arm. "HOLY-" Jason was about to let out an explicit word but was cut short by him falling backwards and making a small squishy sound as he fell on his backside. "Oh no" Jason groaned "I totally forgot that my clothes are still wet." He said while standing up. Jason took off his clothes and hung them on a nearby branch; after a few hours, he took them off the branch and put them back on. "Okay, that's settled" Jason said as he looked down at the skeleton. He noticed a utility belt around it's waist, with a pocket knife and four pouches. He kneeled down, took the belt off the skeleton, and opened the four pouches. "Hmm...there's little pieces of meat in all these pouches, perfect for when I get hungry." Jason said. He closed the pouches and put the belt around his waist. "Now let me try to find someone who's alive this time." He said. (I'm a little worried this image seems out of place)

Zyphoria,20 yrs of age, is a very energetic and cheerful person, but can be depressed easily. She has an orange-brown hair and she's merely 5ft tall. She's a traveller songstress who always have a tanuki with her. The reason why she always travels, is unknown to other people she encounter, because she keeps a dark secret behind those innocent appearance. She was walking on the edge of waters of Lake of Pillars ((area2)) when a breeze tells her to go west. "The townspeople might be kinder this time on the west! Let's go Puutaro!" On her way, she encountered 2 goblins but this monsters were just too weak for her. She lunged at the nearest one with a short knife then quickly throw a rock on the other goblin's head making it faint. "Looks can be deceiving right?" She gave the sweetest smile she could give to the fallen monsters. She didn't kill them but she certainly left those poor creatures before they wake up and target her again. "Nee~~Puutaro, where's the wind now?" She looked at the tanuki beside her but it just stared back at her blankly. After a few seconds, the wind blew westward again. "Let's follow the wind, my matey! Teehee, I've always wanted to say that!" She walked and walked until she reached the foot of the mountain Galatea((area3)). "Eh? Where are we?" Then a sudden snapped branch made her shriek a little. She looked at her pet Puutaro then stayed on guard. A little later, another monster came up near her. She doesn't know what it is or where it came from but she's sure if she doesn't get out of that place or heeded some help, both she and Puutaro will die. She picked up Puutaro then run as fast as she can. While she was running she suddenly tripped and her foot ankle broke. 'I'm done for... Somebody, please... Please help me!' She wants to say the words but then it won't come out of her mouth. Another branch snapped near her then she screamed. "KYAAAAAAAH!!!!" //Heya people! I can't seem to find my ideal character so I'm using my dp is that ok? Well then, I look forward roleplaying with you!!! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

Arthur woke up from yet another nightmare, the sweat hugging his face. He look around and felt a sense of calm when he recognised the familiar walls of his wooden shack. He stirred himself up from his bed and streched as the sunlight began to sneak through the various cracks in the structure. He yawned as he wondered over to a table, unrolled a cloth bag and sat down by the small table to have a breakfast consisting of bread, dried meat, various gathered nuts and dried fruit. He pondered over what tasks he needed to be getting on with today. "Roof needs re-doing soon.. and I still haven't set up that rabbit trap yet.." The second thought stopped him from placing a piece of bread into his mouth and his motions seized up, bread in hand whilst he wrapped his head around his never-ending list of things to be done. He shook his head and leant over reaching for a pitcher of water. He paused to take a deep breath before taking three large gulps, then pouring the rest over his head and rubbed his face clean with a nearby cloth. He shuddered as a few water droplets ran down his back and rolled against the floor to stop the sensation. It's still the middle of the day, the sunlight starts to decrease and the clouds are starting to get darker. Zyphoria is hidden within a cave trying to hide from the monster before. "What was that? Nee, Puuta-" She stopped when she realized her beloved tanuki is lost on her side. "Puutaro!!! Where are you!!!" Her voice was loud that the monster from before starts to walk into the direction of the cave. 'Oh no... Please go away... Puutaro, where are you?' Her thoughts also clouded her mind like how the clouds covers the sky. She tries to walk towards the woods again opposite to the monsters direction. 'Please be okay Puutaro. If you're gone, she'll be back again soon...' She's more scared with the secrets she keeps within her than the monster who's chasing her.

Just as Leo gave his hand to introduce himself, they both heard a scream to the east of them. Without giving a second thought they both took off to find what made the loud noise. As they're running, they find a woman who looks to be frantically looking for something while trying to run from...whatever that thing is. Leo picked up his pace to put himself in between the creature and the girl, but as Leo closed the distance so did the creature until it noticed Leo. Leo lifted his shield and shouted "BACK OFF!" And was rewarded with a bone crunching sound as his shield connected. The creature however merely stumbled a bit, and turned it's a attention to Leo. "God damn it" leo shouted as he took out his sword. And as he placed himself between him and the girl he turned to the kind woman who helped him earlier and asked "can you help me, please?"

They have the ability to pick an adult person up and carry them away! 2: The Screaming Dragons, fearsome lizards that climb the tallest trees, using their prehensile tails and sharp claws to grapple branches, as well as prey. They often pounce on prey from tree branches above, and can choke and bind people with their tails. 3: Nemean Rhinos, fast beasts with retractable claws like that of a lion. It is often easy for them to catch up to their prey and gore them with their pointed horns, and they can shatter bones with their powerful jaws.

Branwen saw the beast and fear had gripped her, standing before them was a Nemean Rhino. She took a deep breath, had drawn her sword and she began to run at it as she felt adrenaline coursing through her veins. Her sword pierced its hide and it quickly turned it's gaze upon her. "Run Leo! She needs help with her ankle! Take the girl and-" she was cut off at it lifted it's paw and swiped it at her, slashing her arm and knocking her down. She sat for a moment, the wind knocked out of her. "Damn you beasts! DIE!" She charged at it once again, blood seeping into her handmade clothing.

As she stab the beast yet again, panic started fill Leo's chest. He wasn't gonna leave her. Leo charged as the beast lifted its paw up and swung his sword at it before he could hit her again, the blade didn't go all the way through but he did break his bone. Thrown off balance, Leo pinned h the beasts head with his shield and end it quickly. He looked over and saw his friends arm. And between breaths asked "how bad is it?"

Branwen took a deep breath and answered, "I've been through much worse." She did indeed have many horrible scars, but this would would certainly add to them. "We should get to my cabin, and treat our wounds. I have medicine there." She gave a nod, and then began to help the girl who was attacked up, although her arm limited Branwen's ability to do so.

Leo saw she was having trouble. "Wait, don't make the injury worse. I'll carry the girl, just apply pressure on that wound"
