luckily i don't believe in the concepts of regression, so i personally would, thereby making the world a better place by balancing out the amount of comfort and suffering.

I guess you can't regress in what you never progressed in. That's the case for them. Unfortunately they also think the world owes them anything and everything so I wouldn't give them anything they aren't deserving of.
