How clingy is too clingy?

I mean you can be clingy AND affectionate imo - I don't think they're mutually exclusive but if you're the kind of person who glomps onto someone, giving them hugs all the time, telling you how much you love them and not wanting to let go of them while they're dragging you around as you're latched onto their leg; figuratively and literally then chances are you're pretty dang clingy. Having a clingy person is certainly not a huge problem for me since I know it's just someone wanting to let me know how much they care about me and there are times where I want someone to be clingy for a change because there are times where I can feel really lonely but doing it all the time without rest can get very draining. So chances are what you're doing isn't wrong at all, you're probably just doing it a little too much and ya need to tone it down a bit :I

i dont know about overly romantic. im mostly just physically cling, as in i cling to a person and don't let go. and i like being touched i.e. having my hair played with or my back scratched. im a girly faggot that way i guess.

If be a liar if I said I don't like clingy so I LOVE CLINGY. Now here are the problems with clingy. 1.LDR- I'm a very physical, touchy, feely, and cuddly person. Physical affections goes a mile with me. Me not being able to physically love you will be a major hindrance to our relationship. Constantly texting mueygooey shit into my phone/dm/skype/kik will make me melt like the wicked witch of the West when water was poured on her. Until I get tired of that. That won't suffice for real touch or even saying that in person. 2: Time- I enjoy things like my vidgia ma games time with UTMOST IMPORTANCE. Not to say I won't sacrifice my time to give affection to my significant other but I need time to myself. If I have to pick up my phone every 5 minutes(LDR) or I can't enjoy a match/game of something without having to give you constant attention then we will definitely have problems. This isn't to say that I'm not clingy at all. As long as you are in the mood then I'm going to continually keep kissing, cuddling, hugging, and touching you(non-sexual way). Of course I don't want the whole relationship to be just that. I want to be your best friend that knows and does everything with you(within your needed space limits). I want to talk about conversations that involve deep thought with you. That's just my perspective on my clingy and what degree of clingy I expect out my partner^3^ Idk explaining myself is hard.
