I don't talk much and an antisocial introvert, but after I've known you for a week and seen how the people I'm new to act I start to open up. It tookeeps me 3 months at my new job before I was acting like my self around my coworker's.

I think I'm actually far more dateable IRL than I am online. I feel that most people avoid me online because they take one look at my info or the dumb picture of me and are like "Nah mate, too weird for me" without really getting to know me - I want to talk to other people from the UK but it's incredibly common for them to have no interest in accepting my friend request let alone talk to me. Don't know why but it almost never happens with people from other countries - it's just a small thing that bugs me now and then, but even when I get talking to people online I find it difficult expressing my emotions via text unless I'm totally blunt about it or use smileys so the people who talk to me and are actually friendly with me don't really know how to react most of the time or they misunderstand whether I actually like them or I see them purely as a friend. Not that the people I'm close to don't know what I'm thinking and saying, I've made a few lovely friends on here and other places and its amazing they can understand how I think and feel almost purely through text.
IRL on the other hand is far easier, I'm noticeably much more sociable with the people I'm around since I'm very easy going and its easy to see my confidence IRL compared to online where I'm very wary of who I talk to. Plus there's the ability to properly express myself through my voice, body language and what-not - I feel that when I'm socialising with friends or someone I like, I light up like a firework (that outgoing personality of mine around friends is literally what made me popular with everyone in my later school and college years) which is actually the opposite online where I prefer to talk one on one through PMs. People understand me a lot more IRL and I think that makes it so much easier to date people that way since they have a much better idea of who I am as a person and I can properly express how I feel about others without any confusion. It's probably a blessing that I am far better IRL since I love the more physical and intimate aspects of a relationship which is much more difficult to obtain online.
So yeah, probably shit for online dating but I think I'm pretty good IRL.
