Magic was once an art practiced by many, but was kept as a closely guarded secret for the potential dangers it can cause. Due to the suppression of it's practice and the passage of time, current generations look at these arts as made up, folk stories. He is the last rune magic practitioner in his line, but he never found a person worthy to acquire the knowledge that he holds. Concerned that rune magic may yet be needed in the future, he has carved the rune symbols that holds power and spread it all over the world. He hopes that one day, a person worthy of the runes will learn of their true purpose. Unfortunately for him, the first person that stumbled upon one of the runes was too busy making ultra frequency cancelling headphones. Perhaps rune magic is not needed at this time.
