Scariest Part of a Relationship?

When the other doesn't try to keep you around just like you would for them. Had plenty of those so now I just cut off if I feel there's no longer a reason to continue. Another is them being taken away from me. Been through that and saw how the person I once cared for changed.

Scariest is trying to find someone, I'm in that place where I'm super lonely and just don't feel like I will meet anyone. But the part that hurts the most is it ending.

trust, the fear of building it just to have it crumble down second would be wasting your time on them

Having only ever been in long distance relationships, I'm sort of at the point where both 1 and 3 are terrifying for me. I have difficulty trusting long distance because in every case, I've had them come to an end with no real good explanation and they just sort of vanish from my life. The reason this bothers me is because in both of my cases, these people went from being good friends of mine to cutting me out of their lives completely. So if I think I like someone I question if I want to potentially lose their friendship by starting a relationship, because having it end has never remained positive for me.

I haven't tried ending one yet and while trying to establish a relationship is pretty terrifying, there is nothing scarier than being in an active relationship. It is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me, but scary nonetheless!

Vulnerability, It's not easy for me to open up about the bad parts of life to anyone, not even family. And also if they're a clingy jealous type, who needs to see me all the time, and know about everything.
