in this weather mosquitos cant survive in the first place (implying your from a colder climate which from the frost i imagine is so) so most parasites are sleepin or deadin spider bros mind their own business and dont wanna mess with the giant stompin around near their homes just be mindful there you step and sit and you will be one with nature (minus all the thousands of bugs you squish when you step on grass and foliage you monster)

the sweet smell of freshly cut grass is actually the grasses natural defense when in danger and we humans love it thats some brutal shit

They're still surviving here. The weather tends to be bipolar in Ohio (Thanks to climate change, as well as the arrangement of geography which means ohio is like the drainage ditch for all the major north american storms). It actually makes it worse for the insects, who may be tricked out of hibernation by a freak heat wave in the middle of winter, only for it to freeze over again... Multiple times. Oh, its spring now? A testament to nature's resilience.
