Well first off you separate the two of them. But yeah Lamby I would definitely advise she leave a man who is assaulting her. Get cops involved and friends if need be. I actually just helped a female friend of mine in that very situation.

Lamby, you seem to be fundamentally misunderstanding my point. I'm not saying to just leave any relationship that looks like it's going sour. And I've said 3 times now that it isnt easy. But you do need to be looking out for yourself.

Friends are friends, regardless of sex. How about that for an idea? I realize some can't separate thier genitalia from friends, but that's not how I do things. Of course, I don't have many friends and that's of my own accord. I'm just more comfortable with a few close friends rather than many acquaintances.

Yaasshat, I would agree fundamentally but there is just something wrong to me with a person who seems unwilling or incapable of having friends of the same gender. Seems suspect to me. I have yet to be proven wrong in this personally.
