Thoughts on War

Something like World War 2 was totally necessary, hundreds of thousands of men and women from lots of nations fought valiantly to the very bone to stop the Nazi regime from conquering the world. You don't even need to watch films or play games of a "What if the nazis won?" scenario to know what would happen if they actually did. Other than that, most of them are dumb, petty and pointless waste of life. Except for wars in video games, they're always great to have around.

One day all this will be over. The war to end all wars will be won by one side or the other. The guns will rust. Grass will grow and they'll be nothing left of any of this. The land will heal itself, as everything does in the end. We'll be long gone by then but maybe not forgotten. History only remembers one in a thousand of us then the future will be filled with stories of who we were and what we did. How we lived, how we fought, how we died. When this is all over and the war is won they will remember us. But until that day comes, we will stand, we will look death in the eye and we will fight!

Why the constant battlefield one quotes? Must of really loved that campaign

Kinda hard not to as thats all I can remember from the campaign that and its opening mission........damn poor guys they couldn't get the Model A-10 hunter
