SAO was one of my favorites too. I've probably watched it 2 or 3 times. I think the 1st season was probably the best. @RainX It's true about .Hack, but the direction SAO took the plot was quite a bit different. Death in .Hack wasn't permanent. Still, as a gamer, it's not a genre I will get tired of. @Azure Chevalier Log horizon was pretty good as well. There were a lot more unique characters in the story. It's a similar premise, yet still very different. But they are both really good. Another good one was Hai to Gensou no Grimgar. I think you'll always see 2 anime come out with the same premise, normally in the same season. I think the competing companies do that just to see who can do a better story using the same criteria.

I agree. Kirito was a bit of a flirt. He did kind of draw girls in. But he never cheated and was pretty true to Asuna the entire time. I felt bad for Liz too. I don't think at the time Asuna and Kirito were really together though. Liz had a shot if she would have tried to beat Asuna to the punch. But you can't have a romance without a romantic rival I guess. That's just how the story went.

I love SAO over all. Season 2 killed me on the inside though so much feeling and emotion in that last few eps that it actually made me cry. I would love if VR hit that stage in my lifetime as well (Maybe without the you die in game you die in the real world part.) I cant wait for season 3. From what i have read and seen people talking about and the rumors it may include the underworld, and Kiroto is going to be one of the people testing it out. as for Asuna and Kiroto's relationship everyone knows he is taken from what that is understood through the anime series. Asuna also does not get over jelly because of the fact that there is no real reason to be because she knows no matter what he would never do anything like that or mess around on her.
