Protein shake time with Dyadka and Sparkie!

@theforsakenone Muscle Milk isn't the best option out there. The flavor is decent, but the actual nutrition of it for recovery and or muscle building is ehh. When you get into it, I can offer up a few brands, options and flavors. @code_016 Not going to lie, I love that feeling when I can't move my arms. In fact, going to do just that in an hour and a half.

I went to a gym three days ago for the first time in my lifetime(I was super embarrassed at the very beginning because I didn't know how to use those equipment..My shoes weren't good too)..So far, I've loved it. I'll try to work out in company's at least 4 times/week after I finish all the tasks...I hope via workout I can better at hiking..https://i.imgur.com/g1CWN4O.gif

@code_016 Going hard is never a bad thing. Though you definitely need to feel when your body is at the limit. During first few days, going too hard is inevitable, as even lighter weights can really be enough for you to feel very sore after the workout. Make sure to eat and rest propertly and the body will recover. When you pick up the pace, you will definitely feel if you can increase the weight, or if you should go lower. @hakutaku Congrats! Going over feeling embarassed is a crucial step to success, and this works for a lot of things not only the gym. For footwear, if you are planning to workout casually, regular running shoes should work just well. Maybe if you can, try finding a shoe pair with a flatter sole, as most running shoes have the heel part higher than the rest. But again this is not necessary. If you need any help, you can always ask, here!

@hakutaku Sparkis is correct. A flat soled shoe for weights is ideal, unless you are visiting the treadmill. However most people in the gym are more than willing to help out if you have questions. You can even take a picture or find pictures of the equipment and Sparkis and I can tell you how to use it. But I can assure you, the initial nerves of the first time will go away very soon. I'd say by the 3rd workout you will be fine and it will be second nature. For hiking I find that a treadmill at maximum incline at 5mph/8kmph gets me to fly around a hiking trail. Though I tend to climb mountains in an unconventional manner.

I find CT Fletcher to be one of the greatest motivators when working out. Aggressively positive and overall fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHiKDa4ip_Q&ab_channel=CTFletcherMotivation

@momoichi Any reason for you going light? Or do you just not have a need for it?
