always use twice as much water as you use rice :3 so one cup rice two cups water and always wash your rice!

@baby boil the water first then add the rice. If you have too much water at that point then either add more rice or take out water. Always wait until the water boils out until its just below the surface of the rice before you put the cover on. Tldr: If too little water keep the cover on, if too much leave it off until its just right.

Washing rice isn't necessary though. The only thing that it does is washes away the outer layer of starch, so that the rice would be fluffy not clumpy. Some people prefer clumpy rice though
