RACISM

To OP: This is an open thread and by starting this topic you even indirectly open communications up to any and all people who come across the thread ....even if they disagree with you or offer a different view point. Therefore by posting the thread you are asking for input even if you are doing so implicitly and not explicitly. I started a thread about another serious topic (guns) and I expect and an open to a dissenting opinion. Maybe you (OP) should look at what the word bigot really means as you express total intolerance to a dissenting opinion and then engage in some inflammatory tactics. I could really go on but if how Mr. Battleship is going about it is racist and inflammatory OP couldn't handle me in the least. I might elaborate on things in a little I'm not sure.

Tiger, why would I respond to him? His comments in this thread have nothing to do with the topic I posted. So, instead of going along with his trolling, I'm ignoring him. That's what you do to children. Why argue? I am calling him a bigot because that's exactly what they're showing me. You don't have to like it. It's my personal opinion. It's also the reason why i even made this thread so he can troll all he wants in this one instead of my main one where I'm actually having a conversation and exchanging ideas like an adult. If you wanna be mad for him, then go for it. I have not asked about ANYONE's personal opinion on dating anyone of any race, religion or creed, so why are you all bringing it up? The question was, what should we do with someone who is labeled a racist. What does that have to do with who you want to fuck or not fuck? It doesn't and I'm not going to entertain it. Also, the BIGOT never asked me a question. Not 1. So what am I suppose to respond to?

Napalmic I have zero interest in having an opened ended discussion about the bigot and their sex escapades. If you want to respond to the bigot, go for it. I am not. I did once and that hurt its feelings. It went to my page first, but you wouldn't know that cause it deleted most of his comments. So yeah, it looks like whatever. Then it admits that it attacked me cause it's feelings were hurt and when I told it that their apology meant shit to me and I don't forgive them, they decided to continue. But I'm the immature one? Fuck off deez nuts. You know why I don't know shit about your thread about guns? cause I don't give a shit about your opinion on guns at this moment. If/When I have a question about guns, things may change, until then, I don't care. The same way not many people care about my thread about a gift exchange. I don't care when people disagree with me. I don't mind having intelligent conversations with intelligent people, but when I ask you to watch a video and tell me what you think and the first thing you say is 'I didn't watch the video but here's my opinion on that video I didn't watch. I don't like blacks & urban culture and I don't like blahblahblah' I'm going to look at you like a fucking idiot and keep it moving.

I brought up my thread not to inject my topic into this (although did risk doing so inadvertently) only to compare that by posting the thread(s) that you implicitly asked for others opinions. You seemed okay with xueli's opinion because it agreed with yours. You're going on like more of a bigot to be honest than the one you claim to be simply because he disagrees with you (and sure I'll give you he hasn't directly answered your question in particular and took the broader approach). You have zero interest in discourse that disagrees with yours is what it is don't go on about bigotry and sex escapades. I see nothing he said that was even remotely racist (maaaayyyyyyybbeeee prejudiced but it is a reach to even say that). His real crime seems to be disagreement and dissent. I haven't read the entire discourse in every way so there may have been something I missed but from the tones of the discourse you're acting far more like a bigot than he is for your intolerance of his opinions when they aren't all that hateful in nature really. I'll give the point of the video thing although perhaps pick a shorter one that illustrates your point would have helped your cause but that does not invalidate his posted opinions or make anything he said default racist. It also looks like you've done plenty of responding so cut the whole "I don't care I'll ignore it" act since it clearly doesn't apply in this case. There is plenty to respond to although not directly related to your original query. You're going on like the typical "race card" and just categorizing anything you don't like as pure bigotry as if there is no possible way to disagree with you without being a bigot (there is irony here). (Edit: I'm in the middle of other things too that have come up so I may not have explained myself as well as I probably should but I think my premise is clear enough)

I'm not calling everyone a bigot. I'm calling Kongou a BIGOT. That's it. 1 person, and that's because he proved it, without any shadow of doubt. You are missing the point. Much like the BIGOT. I am not trying to talk about any specific person's personal take on what racism is. I'm asking how do we treat it. Kichigai you're not making any sense. You're chatting with Maverick, who disagrees with you, yet you demonize Reaper for the same. Also do you really expect anyone to watch a video over 30mins. long just to make a post in a topic that'll die off? You should've chosen a shorter video that has the basic gist of everything. Also the reason we're bringing up the subjects of romance,jobs,culture is because YOU SAID IT'S RACIST TO DENY SAID PPL BASED OFF OF THEIR APPEARANCE/CHARACTER WHO HAPPEN TO BE OVERWHELMINGLY BLACK. Then you want to spin it around and say we're not talking about that when I brought that up in my previous post. This is sad. Very sad. Now you've made Reaper here to be the boogeyman of your topic.
