@Iroyhei FINALLY read your story. (Great read btw) You are pretty much hitting the nail on the head. Apparently, because "black" people are tired of being oppressed and mistreated and are now standing up for themselves, they're acting out. No shit. The "norm" involves black people getting shot for no real good, to me and a lot others, and are now making it clear. They've endured it for, literally, centuries and now that the bullied are speaking up, they're being labeled sensitive & told to get over it. I'll get over it when the "Jews" get over the Holocaust or American's get over 9/11. It's not proportionate. Americans are so racist that it's entertaining. Football teams named Redskins, Indians, Celtics, but because white people are cool with Celtics, the Natives need to endure Indians & Redskins? No. They don't. They don't like it, never liked it and wanted it to be changed. America is like, "but we already made the Jerseys..." Too bad. You need to stop. It's called doing the right thing. (Conversation for another day. I'll stop there) The fact that we have to argue that Black Lives even MATTER is an issue in itself. We can't even SAY that we matter because it'll be skewered and taken as a threat. HOW? 3 words. Black, a color. Lives, a noun. Matter, noun - Something that occupies space, or verb, to be of importance, or Idiom - something of vital importance or significance. Somehow saying those 3 words together mean fuck everyone else, especially white and cops? GTFO. It's quite literally a cry for help. A CRY for attention and what happens in response? "ALL/BLUE LIVES MATTER". Yeah, that should not be the initial response to a cry for help. Normally, or at least I hoped, people would ask why and come together in trying to fix the problem instead of attacking the plaintiff. Now, to actually respond to the main topic, I, too, think that harsher punishment for those exposed for not only being racist, but for those exploiting it for personal gain in negative means should be implemented. Including, but not limited to, classes or a psych evaluation or something before being able to go back to work.

Shame I actually agreed with some of your sentiments on your reaction just now but since I'm a thing why bother :) You go with memes and other indirect stabs but you don't come with substance - why is that? You can superiority complex all you want just saying but you gain no respect from a reasonable minded person if you can engage in such behavior with no substance to it. (Possibly) right idea - just bad execution (similar to some elements on BLM ... right idea(s) sometimes poor execution) I actually agree with your stances on the sports teams names - if it is offensive enough to the communities they are drawn from then they should be changed. I also agree that legit racists (proven through litigation) should have punishments levied against them and in cases where harmful discriminating acts are committed fines and/or jail time (particularly if the harm is physical) I answered the "what should happen" in more detail at some point either in this thread or another one as well as a framework of what would constitute a punishable racist.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kichigai wasn't accepted by the black community for being unfunny and taking himself too seriously.
