Electrick bend over...
The minimum wage has a slew of its own issues. And eliminating it entirely, gradually but entirely , would be best.

Please tell me, i'm not an economist, but can you present proof saying that the lack of a minimum wage would drastically lower the prices of all necessities. like Food, and I'm not talking about the processed shit that you and I eat, but the fresh food, and everyone would be able to live a normal and healthy life style in the country without having to worry of being in proverty. Now I know that raising the minimum wage isn't going to solve everything, but I don't see getting rid of it as a solution either when companies wish to pay people less and less and gain more and more money.

A company's bottom line matters too much. I posit that a worker who is willing to get a job at 7 dollars an hour is better off with that job than no job. I posit that a small business owner being price gauged out of the market does no good for creating jobs. I posit that any company loon enough to underpay workers just because they can produces shitty workers and is destined to fail. I posit that an economy driven by competitive pay would produce more jobs and a more fair price scale.
You raise the minimum wage means the cost of production goes up. Means that the cost of goods and services goes up. Means that the cost of living goes up. Workers cant get jobs as employers can't afford to hire them and we dont see any new employers as they cant find reliable work for a reasonable price. Only higher skilled workers can afford to live and buy goods and services and BOOM. You have just hollowed out the poor from an entire area via the minimum wage.
I am vastly obersimplifying it and I will gladly go into more detail in explanation but economically it is not a good idea in my opinion to even have a minimum wage let alone raise it.

hmm... Okay I guess I can understand your point in that regard, but Look, I don't mind that big companies do exist. I love the content they produce and how they continue to produce more and more content that would otherwise would most likely be gone due to the poor business choices of smaller companies, but from someone who kind of feels that the American dream is dead, I feel that just believing the companies are going to liberal with their wealth and make the economy stronger they're going to buy and make the economy thrive where minimum wage as it is small as it is makes me very skeptical with their influence in governmental affairs. Maybe if the government was more stern in the idea of lobbyism I guess I wouldn't mind it as much.

I guess my main concern is mainly if businesses become to powerful with their wealth and weak minded politicians bend the knee way too easily to it.

Oh I hate lobbying and trust no company to be noble. I am just looking at this from a purely economical standpoint. It can feel helpless I know. But shit as it is, the situation can get better.
But seriously fuck lobbyists

Aboloshing minimum wage is one of those "it looks good on paper" and "sounds good in theory" but given how the wealthy have conducted themselves the last thing we need to do is completely give in on something as cricial to the average person as their wage. I believe leaving it to "the market" would more likely end disastorous than successful.
I find protection very necessary even in Capitalism. Otherwise we'll stop using our 1A rights and opt for our 2A rights to get our point across
