Women discriminate as well. Pinch your temple all you like but you cannot just excuse women's actions whilst villifying men for the same, generalization or not. I do not take it personally. I just believe you're wrong here or at least ill informed is all.

The word missing is "some". I'm not taking away blame from a good chunk of men in power, but I am saying it's not as simple as "its men's fault". Things aren't as simple as that, never have been.

Voss, Exactly And I'm not trying to vilify anyone, I just hate blanket statements.

You see modern day feminists / women.... they want all of the benefits of the "traditional woman" without all of the responsibilities the traditional woman had. Also I have another great bit of harsh truth here women aren't going to like..... feminism has warped among other things - the dynamics of a male / female heterosexual relationship. They want all of the focus on their needs, their independence, their whatever - and focus little if at all on the mans needs and don't provide the same benefits by in large they used to ... except well for sex.... and women wonder why men view women as sex objects when its the primary benefit they ACTUALLY OFFER ... if you (women) want men to stop wanting just sex from you ... offer something more. In other words the reason "chivalry is dead" is because feminism killed it. You are so focused and fixated on "what the man should do for his woman" but "what the woman should do for her man" is a lost art and getting more lost by the day. You want a man to respect you - give him something to respect. How did I adopt this view - I'll put it out there. My last two girlfriends were adamant about not being sex objects and stressed very heavily that they not be viewed as such. The kicker .... sex was pretty much the only thing they actually offered (the other stuff that would be in a relationship was either minimal, conditional, or non-existent) so by their own actions and what they offered ... yeah they were sex objects but I myself did not objectify them they did it to themselves by not offering more. Basically "the only benefit you're going to get out of me is sex" ... so naturally I'm going to gravitate toward that need. If there was more than sex actually offered most of this last paragraph would be moot.
