I'm not a big car person but I do like certain cars. I'm going to be buying a new (used) car after I get my tax check. As far as cars that I could potentially afford, my favorite option is an 82-87 Pontiac Trans-Am as I was a big Knight Rider fan back in the day. A quick check on just one site shows 3 at $2500 within 2hrs of my house. I don't really like most newer cars except some high end cars. I much prefer older cars. Also you can actually work on older cars without diagnostic computers and such. I'm also weird in that I prefer automatic transmissions on sports cars as I find shifting to be a distraction. I had an '88 RX-7 for a bit before the fuel pump when out and I was too poor to fix it. It did shift nice but it was still annoying.

Ooooh! Going old school. I wanted a simpler car, but they just don't make those anymore. So in order to solve my mid-life crisis I went out and bought a 2016 Dodge Charger. Now I'm super broke until I pay it off but at least I can look good and go fast. Gotta go fast.

in the uk your first car will probably be a polo, Corsa, fiesta, fox or one of the igo variants as you be forking over £2500 to insure it for the first year. anything over a 1.6 liter engine you be lucky if anything will insure you

Don't consider myself much of a car guy. I just kno what every guy should kno about cars. Don't buy a used sports car. 100% chance it was beat on. I had an 03" celica that I beat the shit out of. Drove it off the lot barely knowing how to drive stick. A year later burnt the clutch. I drive an 11" Camry now, dual exhaust shits got some balls. I do the basic maintenance myself(oil, air filter, just changed spark plugs n brake pads a few months ago). Took it to the shop for an alignment, almost time for timing belt. How much boost were u getting in that RX-7?

It was a non turbo unfortunately. A friend borrowed it and said it topped out around 140mph. (I actually didn't have my license yet when I had it)

Out of those cars I'd say 3000gt is nicest. Would've went w camaro, but it said sometimes it starts n sometimes it doesn't. Might actually have to take a diagnostics cpu when checking that one out. That Benz already had 245,262 miles. Wouldn't be surprised if it died on the way home. That jag is nice but aren't replacement parts for a jag expensive. It's up there in miles when everything starts going. So basically between those mitsabishis n the crown Vic. (Ford-found.on.road.dead)I'm Asian so ofc I'm gonna go w the ricer. 3000gt is fwd, so it handles better in winter conditions
