I never said that 'I' had strong views. I actually tend to stay under a rock when it comes to politics and the media. I was simply saying that not voting for the president shouldn't bar you from all political talks, since there are other things to vote for.
The only time that I have been hearing about Trump recently is from people like you pronoting him by bringing it up in conversation. Or others posting memes about it, spreading his influence.

And no, no offence taken at all. Likewise none meant by me.

I never once complained about politics.
Was I really talking about Trump? Or was I talking about you talking about him? :p
I'm confused, you said 'no', as if you were disagreeing, then agreed that you were spreading his influence.
I'm not criticising your political views of the presidential candidates; however, I would like to criticise your views of the presidential hoax. Presidential votes matter? Sure. As you said, the political party often times determines which sphere of people will be the majority in voting for their bills, and will likely pass or deny them per those views. HOWEVER, isn’t that a really limited view on politics? Votes are largely influenced by the media, and the media covers what will get them paid. The general media will never cover what bills are available, so most of them will pass by the window to vote before half of the population has even heard of it.
Let me ask you, how often do you vote for bills and public offices other than President? Do you really care about politics by voting whenever you get the chance? Or is once every 4 years enough for you and you hope that your party will influence the rest of the votes?
None of our candidates can offer the changes that the US really need, because offering those changes won’t get them as many votes or media coverage as slandering the other candidates.

I disagree with you, slightly.
While 3rd party candidates rarely gain much traction, is it because they are unqualified? Or because there's this notion that a 3rd party vote is a waste and that you must vote red or blue? And does that notion actually come from thought, or from newsfeeds that tell you that?
So for whom is truly pwned? The one that listens and follows, or the one who doesn't?
Oh, I'm a grad school grad who works in wealth management and investments in Manhattan. So maybe you want to change your demographic there a bit ;) xoxo

Now, now. This is no time to start imitating the presidential candidates.
