What are the most "unfair" reasons you've rejected people?

When I was around 14, a boy with a pretty severe physical deformity that resulted in bulging eyes and arms that didn't really extend, started very obviously hitting on me, in front of all of my friends. I didn't know what to do; he was a really nice guy but I was just not attracted to him at all. I quickly asked some other boy to be my boyfriend, and let him find out about that. He was upset. I felt really bad, because due to his deformity I had seen him as a child, and I realized for the first time that he was my age and had the same teenage desires, and how I was just the first of a long line of girls who would reject him because of the way he was, and how it was just so unfair. I don't like thinking about this.

To be honest, I dumped my last ex because I didn't spend as much time reallly getting to know him skin deep. He wore masks to hide his face and few weeks in when we dated, I asked if he could show me how he looked like and the moment he did I got mentally scarred but played it off and tried my best to genuinely accept him. He, too, had a physical deformity on his face, but I learned from that experience to really get to know a person, how they look beforehand, and knowing that he's a human being capable of feeling emotions.

Hmm i'm not sure if this is reasonable but honestly i rejected someone cause I wasn't ready to be in a realationship. I dont function properly at all. I think id make myself more miserable. So for the best i didnt want her to be hurt as well.
