すみません、 thanks for correcting!
私はすきこのむききしる、so I say it out loud as I type it ^_^;
すな ----> Suna
さん ----> san?

ummm.
It's difficult to predict what the sentence means.
私はすきこのむききしる → 私は教えてもらう事を好む
The character of (suna san) is right.

(Loving that Shonen Bat picture. Kon Satoshi is God)
I'm Japanese. Fluent in both English and Japanese. If you want to talk I'm probably free sometime.

I'm also learning Japanese (on my own) during my free time.
I'm have not made many progress yet.
I already can read hiragana and almost katakana and I know about 150 words.
I'm still not able to conjugate verbs, and don't know when to use what particle.
But this is a start.

It's always hard at the beginning. I'm in Intermediate Japanese 3 in college, and I recognize and write a bunch of kanji found in the Genki 1 and Genki 2 books.
My advice is to gather your friends who are also learning Japanese, and ask everyone to SMS each other via Japanese keyboards (like Google Keyboard) using all the vocabulary, grammar, and Kanji you know.

Hmm seems nice, to bad I do not have friends who are also trying to learn the language.

Memorizing the hiragana and katakana is somewhat hard for me.
The kanji is somewhat easier at least
