Anyone into board games?

I just found out the new season of tabletop should be coming out soon and I'm excited to see what new games they play. I currently get together with a couple of friends once a week and play some random games. We've played a lot of games like Lords of Waterdeep, Codenames, Exploding Kittens, Pandemic etc.. Any one else here like board games and if so what are some of your favourite games?

Don't even know if you're still active, but I'm hereby ressurecting your thread because I love board games. That has always been a staple of family get-togethers for me and my aunts and uncles. Every time I go visit we play some new game they found. Forbidden Island was one of the more recent ones that springs to mind.

After watching Hikaru no Go I was obsessed with go for a while. Didn't have anyone to play with and was too hard to learn myself so I stopped trying to learn. But God I still love that show. Also Forbidden Island is a fun game. I was buying new games alot for like a good 6 months, if you ever need a suggestion just let me know.

All I have is, monopoly, battleship, cribbage (There's a board involved.), operation (play it drunk and you'll get a new appreciation for it.), jenga kind of counts, mad gab(Card game) and clue. I want to get something a bit more out of the ordinary.

Well you'll probably like Settlers of Catan, it's a pretty classic game that's been around for a while. Simple yet enough strategy to keep it interesting. Exploding Kittens is my favourite card game right now, lots of fun competing and mind gaming friends with this game. If you want a specific game type then I might be able to suggest something as well. For example card game, competitive, co-op, rpg, mind games, party game etc.

Ahhh ic ic. I play every week so for me they're worth it. There are some cheaper games like most of the card games but most games are probably $30+

I mostly got mine from thrift shops. Me and my fiancee love board games. We're gonna be the boring couple. But, damn it if we don't have fun. You just gave me some idea's for wedding gift registries.XD
