Everyone experiences it differently, what is it to you, what does it to you ?
If you want to just ''rant'' on her about the subject, that's alright too

i deal with loneliness sometimes though for the most part i'm pretty introverted and rather be by myself most of the time. when i get lonely i just keep myself busy with stuff but never take out my frustrations on others. there's a reason why i'm feeling lonely and it's my responsibility to take care of it (fill in the gaps).
it can be hard sometimes. i can't go thinking how my life sucks, and why it's everyone's fault why i feel this way. all these feelings start from within and sometimes its just best to let things go. emotions, feeling loneliness and even depression are like the seasons. (spring, summer, fall, winter).
i dislike ranting, making depressing posts or comments. it's not serving a purpose meaningful in any way. appreciate wutcha have is my advice.

When I can't express myself clearly enough to other people I tend to feel lonely. Being a very emotional sort of person puts me at odds with a lot of people to start with.
What about you?

It does serve a purpose many times, as people tend to understand you more or sympathize with you more, knowing what you really go through. It might just help someone else.
@C.Raynor I, myself see loneliness a bit differently. I see loneliness as not having the ''right'' people around you as much as you actually need and/or not finding the right ''one''. Although I like to emphasize that I don't mean a love partner with ''the one''. With ''the one''' I mean someone who understands you fully, empathizes with you fully and shares some same views and feelings with you. Someone who's closest to you, I think

Those kinds of people I are rare.
Some of my old friends were straight up arse faces. So I can relate to your sentiment Jason.

Loneliness to me meant that no one has ever been able to fully understand me. In this regard, I've been alone all my life. I have friends and family that could only understand certain parts of me but not completely. Whether it be not seeing things the same way, not opening up, or any other possible reasons why. What I learned was that only you can change your own situation. No one is obligated to make you happy and no one is responsible for you feeling lonely. I may never find someone to fully understand me but I'll try to reach out as much as I can until I find someone or a group of people that together understand all the different parts of me.
This is just my experience, I tried to disconnect my self from the world because loneliness was all I knew. I blamed it others at the time without realizing it was me that pushed everyone away. I hope this sheds a different light in your perspectives, I know that every situation is different and there are many different factors. It's just something to consider.

I can feel lonely even in a crowded room, I hate the feeling... I'm usually the most lonely at night, in bed alone :/ but I try not to think too much about it.

I'm use to being alone. I actually prefer to be alone. But I understand that some people need someone else in their life. Though from what I noticed of a few really lonely people is that they tend to be a little pushy and impatient at times. Which doesn't help them much.

I used to be bothered by it but I kind of gotten numb to it. I just do the things I need to get done and that works extremely well for me. Interactions with people is nice though.
