I'm not good at conversation

anime_tyrant
As an artist - running out of ideas is something like a writer's block that a bunch of people say is hard to get over. In order to make your creative juices work you have to either (a) be good at visualization - or (b) Ask questions about nothing Say you are drawing a magician. Why? are you drawing a magician? What's the point? What makes this magician different than the others? yadda yadda yadda Same can be done with conversation. What's your name? How are you? Do you like it here? Where are you from? One question / answer can lead to other questions or answers either spontaneously or planned out. Just ask questions - be confident and everything will pan out from there.

The best conversation I have with people is about nothing and everything random. When you start to overthink what to talk, it'll become way too tiring fast. Best conversation is when you have no expectation of it and don't feel bad when it ends, its all about enjoying the convo. When you need to think about how to make things interesting and keep someone interested in talking to you, then you are doing it wrong IMHO. Don't worry about losing interest, everyone lose interest as convo goes on. Sometimes it can go on for hours, and sometime it just a few mins. That does not says anything about you as a person.

This is awkward lol. Well, the logic way is to just talk stuff you both like and the rest can be questions to if that person likes this or that, that way you open other conversations. :)
